Congratulations to all our student's for such a wonderful job they've done on our Let's Create and Opera: The Wilds! Our children have worked very hard to create, produce and perform this Opera and deserve a pat on the back!

This has been an unusual school week filled with tech rehearsals, dress rehearsals and performances. Student's also earned their YES day as well!

Here's what we've covered this week in learning:

Literacy

To wrap up our study of ways we communicate, we looked at the function and use of a postcard. Student's worked hard on creating their own postcard using watercolors with a Rosemont or Opera theme. Have a look at an example.

Math

This week we've been looking at 3-D shapes, specifically the attributes of a cube. Student's had a chance to create a cube out of toothpicks and marshmallows and have started working on a net.

Social Studies

We've continued examining public spaces at our school. This week we reflected on beauty and landmarks in public spaces.
