This week in Literacy we've finished our family simile books. We're going to continue to look at using similes as a descriptive tool in writing - through some monster similes. On Friday we created our monsters that we'll be writing about next week!
Math
In Math we've continued to look at the properties of 2D shapes and sorting them. We even create Polygon Robots!
Science
Students have brought in their texture artifact to talk about and display in science. We described our artifacts feeling using our sense of touch.
Social Studies
We had our trip to Fort Calgary on Monday. This began our discussion on who the first people in the Calgary region were, including the First Nations, Explorers, Settlers and other immigrants from throughout the world.
